  The Chancellor's Academic Professional Excellence (CAPE) Award is designed to recognize the importance of contributions made by academic professionals. Nominees are evaluated on three criteria: work, personal, and professional contributions. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on December 20, 2021.   The Illinois Supervisory Skills Program is an opportunity to develop self-awareness of management styles and personal biases, to practice strategies for resolving conflict, and to build confidence in leading others through performance feedback and coaching techniques. Open to current academic or civil service employees who oversee status employees or student employees in a supervisory capacity or similar role with at least a 75%-time appointment. View Details.

• FREE Microsoft Teams Basics Offered by Training Services

  Teams is a communications platform available through Microsoft 365. In this 2-hour online workshop, learn how to navigate the Teams environment and communicate with Teams. We will practice participating in online Teams meetings and discuss sharing screens and files. We will finish up by creating a team and configuring a channel.
