Tutorial on Parsl. Parsl is a parallelization system written in Python. It allows the users to easily parallelize workflows and manage resources.
Parsl programs can be executed on any compute resource from laptops to HPC systems, with no code changes. (see
parsl-project.org for details). This hands–on session is aimed at those who want to learn how to use
Parsl. Some knowledge of Python, writing and calling functions, is necessary. A
JupyterHub instance with compute allocations is being set up for attendees to use. Registration is required so that each attendee can have an allocation ready to go.

Parsl in new and existing projects. The tutorial will be given in person Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 9:30–11:30 a.m. in NCSA 1030. Bagels and coffee will be available starting at 9a.m. Please register
