Matthew Hufft, Founder and Creative Director of Hufft Projects, will present a lecture, "Hufft Projects, A Design Collective", on Wednesday April 15 at 5:30pm in the Lawrence J. Plym Auditorium, Temple Hoyne Buell Hall. There will be a reception before hand at 5:00pm.
Bio: Matthew Hufft has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas and a Master's degree from Columbia University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, NNARB certified, and licensed in Missouri, Kansas, and New York.
At the age of twenty-five, his first commission, "The Line House", was completed. Soon after, other commissions followed and Hufft Projects was formed in New York City. Since that time, he has been the head architect on over 100 architectural projects, ranging in budget from $20,000 to $60,000,000. His work has been featured in Architectural Record, Metropolitan Home, Interior Design, Esquire, and many more publications. He has won over 20 national and international awards.
Matthew is also Co-Founder and Creative Director of Edwin Blue, a furniture company that focuses on handmade modern furniture.
