Are you a manager planning to hire new employees in a business and finance role? Or an employee hired within the last two years with business and finance responsibilities? Either way, you’ll want to take advantage of a new Business and Finance Orientation that will be available starting in February!
Session Details
The Business and Finance Orientation sessions are one hour in length and are initially scheduled for 9:30 a.m. for the first three Wednesdays in February 2021-April 2021. More dates will be added for future sessions.
The orientation is geared towards new employees with primary business and finance functions. However, staff with business and finance responsibilities who are within their first two years of employment are encouraged to take the training and will likely find value in the information it provides.
In addition to the orientation session, a Business and Finance Orientation website has been created as a resource for new staff to:
- become familiar with business and finance units
- take advantage of training opportunities
- stay connected

- Newly hired staff and staff with business and finance responsibilities within their first two years of employment
- Register for Business and Finance Orientation and check out the new Business and Finance Orientation website.
- Hiring managers
- Recommend participation in this orientation to all newly hired staff who have business and finance responsibilities and/or interact with the system business and finance units

- Share the registration link for Business and Finance Orientation, which can also be found on the website along with additional resources
