On March 12, 2024, Chrome River is launching the upgraded Emburse Chrome River app for US based users on Android and iOS. University Payables encourages users to transition from the Chrome River SNAP app to the Emburse Chrome River app, as the new app provides the following:
- Seamless capture of receipts on the go
- Automatic extraction of expense details using OCR technology
- Tracking and management of receipts across devices with cloud wallet
- Real-time alerts
- Compliance with country-specific requirements by digitizing receipts
- 35 supported languages to choose from
