  • UIUC: FY 2027 Final Fringe Benefit Rates

    • Renewals of $1,000,000 or more for commodities, general services and/or professional and artistic services including sole sources require Board of Trustees aproval. Requisitions need to be submitted to Purchasing in adequate time to obtain the necessary BOT approvals by January 17, 2025. Last FY25 BOT mtg. Date is May 22,2025

    FY27 Final Fringe Benefit Rates take effect on pay periods BW15 and MN8. The FY27 F&A and Tuition remission rates take effect 7/1/26.

    The FY27 Fringe Benefit Rates have been finalized and negotiated with the Federal Government. At the time of the proposal’s submission a slightly larger increase in the Health, Life, Dental (HLD) portion of the fringe benefit rate was expected based on available information.  During recent rate negotiations we received more current information which resulted in a lower HLD rate negotiated with the Federal government. The FY 27 Final Fringe Benefit Rates schedule provides detailed rate application guidelines for F&A, tuition, and fringe benefits.
