Dear colleagues,
The Certified Business Administrator (CBA) Path has been a huge success since it was launched four years ago and we have graduated nearly 400 program participants. The success of the CBA Path is based on the tremendous commitment of over 90 instructors and a project team consisting of over a dozen participants working tirelessly to maintain modern standards for the program and remain current with today’s best business practices.
Today we are proud to announce a Certified Business Administrator Refresh and Update Project. After four consecutive years of running the CBA Path, it is time to revisit and update the program to continue to maintain the high standards upon which it was built. The CBA Refresh Project will focus on improvements and address suggestions from past participants, instructors and our learning and development experts.
To allow the project team and instructors to focus on updating the CBA Path, we have decided to pause the program for the 2022-2023 season and start the next cohort in 2023-2024, once the Refresh Project concludes.
During the 2022-2023 season, the efforts of our project team and instructors will focus on improving the CBA Path in the following ways:
- reducing the amount of introductory level content,
- reducing overall class and session times,
- increasing learning activities and engagement opportunities for participants,
- improving the administration of the CBA Group (an alumni group for graduates that provides continuing education and input/focus group opportunities to its members).
We look forward to making the CBA Path even better and are excited about rolling out a new and improved version for the 2023-2024 season. Please stay tuned and watch for more information about the application process in Spring of 2023!
