The Office of the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Comptroller has further extended due dates for the previously extended 2020 equipment Biennial inventories. New due dates for all affected units are as follows:
UIC East Side Biennial cycle originally scheduled to certify on March 31, 2020
- Certification due date is now March 31, 2021
- Pending Resolution due date is now June 30, 2021
UIUC and System’s Office units originally scheduled to certify on August 31, 2020
- Certification due date is now March 31, 2021
- Pending Resolution due date is now June 30, 2021
These new due dates have now been updated in the Biennial Inventory system. Departments with biennial inventory due dates of 2021 are not affected by the extension and should proceed as usual with their physical inventory of equipment. The system is open and available for units to begin, continue or complete their 2020 or 2021 biennial inventory.
