Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I hope you are staying healthy and resilient as we transition from winter to spring. Despite the challenges that 2025 has presented within higher education, the College of Education at Illinois remains steadfast in our efforts to foster a more just society by positively impacting the lives of students, educators, families, and communities.
Our collective efforts truly do make a difference in classrooms today and in the future. Education at Illinois is dedicated to remaining a leader in discovery and innovation for all. To that end, I’m proud to share recent examples of scholarship and expertise from the Education at Illinois community throughout this newsletter.
Speaking of research, several Education at Illinois faculty and graduate students will be presenting their work and networking with colleagues at the American Educational Research Association Annual Meeting in Denver next month. I look forward to the always-enriching dialogue and supportive academic community that this conference provides.
While the College of Education community has already garnered several notable accolades this year, what consistently makes me proud is our excellence toward one another. As a community that genuinely cares for the wellbeing of all individuals, Education at Illinois remains unwavering in our commitment to our core values of making education equitable and accessible to all learners.
Yours in Orange and Blue,
Chrystalla Mouza
