Why did you join CCP?
In high school, I was a member of Hope Squad, which is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program. I enjoyed engaging in meaningful work while educating peers on an important mental health topic. While at UIUC, CCP seemed like the perfect opportunity to continue what I started in high school. I love that I will have the chance to discuss a range of mental health and wellness topics, work alongside my wonderful peers, and challenge myself to grow in specific areas (e.g., public speaking).
Future Career Hopes
I hope to become a grief/trauma-informed therapist for children and adolescents! My goal is to work with underrepresented children and adolescents to help ensure they have access to mental health services.
