Why did you join CCP?
The CCP program's mission and values strongly align with my future goals and values, as they will help me reach my aspirations through opportunities such as community outreach across a diverse demographic and also educate the UIUC community on various mental health topics.
Future Career Hopes
One of the many hopes for my future career is to support adolescents and young adults. My work would be centered around helping individuals navigate through school, identity, and career transitions, as well as assisting adults facing significant life changes. I am especially interested in helping individuals manage stress and burnout, working with those in academic, healthcare, and general professional settings. Grief and loss are areas of interest I want to specialize in. My intended purpose at the core is to address mental health challenges with acceptance and commitment therapy, humanistic/person-centered therapy, and psychodynamic therapy to foster resilience, growth, and self-understanding.
