We invite Illinois NLRS partners to submit new or updated 2025 program and project narratives for inclusion in the NLRS Program and Project Narrative Digital Library. Narratives will serve as a searchable resource for partners, stakeholders, and the public. The library is currently under development as part of the new NLRS Data Portal (go.illinois.edu/NLRSPortal), where all data and narratives through 2025 will be published by December 2026.
Your submission helps highlight the impactful work happening across Illinois to reduce nutrient loss and protect water quality.

Getting Started
You may download the list of past 2023-24 narratives for reference.
- If you’ve submitted in the past, you will receive a separate email with your previous narrative(s) to assist with 2025 updates.
- If this is your first submission, please download the instructions/cover sheet for guidance.
Submissions due June 15
Please submit information covering 2025 only and provide each program or project as a separate Word document (one narrative per file), even for updates.
