We are writing to announce the Bhaumik Prize Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at UCLA. This interdisciplinary program spanning the Departments of Physics and Astronomy and Chemistry and Biochemistry offers prestigious postdoctoral positions to future innovators and leaders in science
The Bhaumik Prize Postdoctoral Fellowship is a three-year award for postdoctoral research, advised by a participating faculty member in Chemistry and Biochemistry or Physics and Astronomy. They will receive an annual stipend of $90,000, benefits, travel funds, and become part of a vibrant interdisciplinary scientific community. The first cohort of Bhaumik fellows will begin their appointments in September 2026. Applicants must have received their PhD between September 2023 and August 2026. Applicants must not have a UCLA affiliation. Nominations are due on October 31, 2025. Nominations can be brief and from any PhD scientist within the field.
