    Illinois fought back from a double-digit second-half deficit to force overtime and take down No. 2 Texas, 85-78. Freshman guard Jayden Epps scored the Illini's final five points of the second half to send the game to overtime.

    Illinois used a 19-0 second-half scoring run to defeat No. 24 Rutgers, 69-60, on Saturday afternoon. The Illini outscored the Scarlet Knights, 39-26, in the second half en route to the team's fourth win over an AP Top-25 opponent this season.

    On a sentimental Senior Day at Huff Hall on Sunday, Illini Volleyball triumphed over Iowa in straight sets to record the Illini's eighth sweep this season. Their fourth-straight victory helped the team improve to 15-13 overall, 11-8 in Big Ten play.

    The Illini became the first team in the nation with two AP Top 25 wins and improved to 4-0 for the first time since 2011. Illinois moved to 3-0 in overtime games under head coach Bret Bielema.

    Five home runs powered Fighting Illini softball past SIUE on Tuesday as Illinois topped the Cougars, 13-4, in a five-inning run-rule affair.

    At the plate, the Fighting Illini were paced by Eileen Donahue, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a home run, a walk and two RBI. Stevie Meade compiled a noteworthy performance at the plate as well, going 3-for-5 with two RBI.

    No. 14 Illinois used four scorers in double figures and a strong defensive performance to take down Michigan, 88-73, at Crisler Center on Thursday night.
