    Community volunteers are needed to help support the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in Champaign-Urbana. The University of Illinois’ Gies College of Business and Salt & Light partner to operate the IRS-sponsored VITA program, which is designed to help lower-income households, older adults, people with disabilities as well as non-English speakers prepare their tax returns. No tax experience necessary to help provide this service to Champaign-Urbana.
