State insurance rates for FY 2019 may be of interest to employees who are considered part-time for State Employees Group Insurance Program eligibility. No action is required at this time.
Central Management Services (CMS) released the FY 2019 State health and dental insurance rates. If you are a part-time employee participating in State insurance plans, this rate information is used to calculate your cost for coverage effective July 1, 2018.
In addition to your employee premium, as a part-time employee you also pay a percentage of the State cost, based upon the percentage of your appointment. See the links below to estimate your cost.
You’ll be able to view your actual insurance cost in CMS MyBenefits on July 1, 2018.
