The College of Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications forthe 2022 Opportunities in Engineering Conference (OPPS). OPPS is an opportunity for outstanding undergraduate juniors and seniors to visit the UW-Madison campus and explore graduate programs in engineering. The conference will be held from Wednesday, November 9 through Saturday, November 12, 2022.
The conference will include presentations on research, funding for graduate school, the graduate application process, and career options with graduate degrees in engineering. Students will have opportunities to meet with faculty and tour campus facilities, the University of Wisconsin campus, and the broader Madison community. Additionally, participants will network with current engineering graduate students and PhD alumni.
For those selected to participate in OPPS, all travel and lodging will be covered as well as mealson Wednesday night, and all-day Thursday and Friday. Students from traditionally underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, first-generation students, and students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply. In addition to sending an unofficial transcript or grade report and one faculty reference, all applicants must complete the online application available here.
