Project Description: MUS-ROVER is a novel research project on music intelligence. It is also the name of the first automatic music theorist that analyzes music from scratch, upon which we further build applications including personalized music education, music style identification and mixing, automatic composition, etc.

SUMMER OPENINGS: We are looking for students who are interested in this project to help us with -
1) Developing the MUS-ROVER web application of a personalized music education system (music web designer and developer)
2) Formatting and processing music data (music data scientists)
3) Potentially some other small projects as well
Requirements
- Being able to work this summer
- Proficient in scientific computing (using Python) or web design/programming
- Proficient in reading music notations in sheet music and/or music theory and/or music composition
- Good at self-learning software/data formats, such as finale, MIDI/MusicXML, etc.
