  • JANUS Undergrad Research Opportunity

    Georgia Tech in cooperation with NASA is offering a summer program for undergraduate students in the Georgia Tech High-Power Electric Propulsion Laboratory. Work hands on on the cutting edge of propulsion technology as part of the Joint Advanced Propulsion Institute. Program runs May18 to July 25th. Apply by February 15, 2025.

  • ILSGC Undergraduate Scholarship Information

    The Illinois Space Grant Consortium (ILSGC) will award scholarships to outstanding students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) disciplines that support NASA’s mission. A total of up to (18) $3,000* scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. Funding will be released incumbent upon authorization of funds by NASA. Apply by February 1, 2025.

  • Fresh Check Day

    Fresh Check Day, is an uplifting mental health promotion and suicide prevention event that includes interactive expo booths, peer-to-peer messaging, support of multiple campus departments and groups, free food, entertainment, and great prizes and giveaways. Fresh Check Day aims to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about mental health and helps to build a bridge between students and the mental health resources available on campus, in the community, and nationally. 

    Fresh Check Day on Monday, February 10, from noon - 2 p.m. in the Illini Union, rooms B and C.

  • Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellowship

    Join us Thursday, Jan. 23, for a virtual event showcasing the Intelligence Community (IC) Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program! During the fair, research topic authors and program representatives will be on hand to answer your questions in 1-on-1 chats. The event will also feature a live panel discussion with representatives from the Intelligence Community.

  • Ready2Work (R2W) Internship 2025

    The Ready2Work (R2W) Internship is designed to provide a 12-week summer internship opportunity to talented students. Selected candidates will be introduced to a variety of entry and mid-level research, technical, and professional positions within the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and its National Laboratories with a focus on: Energy Security, Nuclear Security, Scientific Discovery and Innovation, Environmental Responsibility, Management Excellence, Cybersecurity, Safeguards and Security, and Technological Advancement.   • REU Summer Internships

  • NNSA PATH Scholarship 2025

    The Program Award for Technical and Higher-Education (PATH), sponsored by National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), offers scholarships to students from Minority Serving Institutions pursuing a degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM)-discipline that supports the critical needs of the Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE). The NSE has a wide array of critical needs that range from technical expertise and skilled trades to STEM research. Important research areas include nuclear security, advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, engineering, and energy systems.

    Scholarship: 
    Scholarships will begin on September 1st and will end on May 31st, regardless of a student's academic calendar.
    One or two-year certificate/degree: $4, 500/year for up to 2 years
    Four-year undergraduate degree: $10,000/year for up to 4 years
    Graduate degree: $20,000/year up to 2 years

     

  • Repperger Research Intern Program

    The Repperger Research Intern Program is a 10-week educational experience, from June 2 to Aug. 8, 2025 at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH, and JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. The available research opportunities span many STEM fields, including biology, mathematics, computer science, cognitive science, kinesiology, physics and several other areas of study.
