SURF is a 10-week-long paid research opportunity for undergraduates enrolled in US universities. The Purdue SURF application opens Dec 1, 2024. Priority deadline is Jan 15, 2025 with rolling admissions after this deadline. This program runs from May 25- August 8, 2025 SURF Students receive a summer stipend of $6,500. Send any summer research questions to  eur@purdue.edu

Selected Pathways Scholars receive $10k, which includes summer stipend ($6500) and is expected to cover the cost of housing ($2500 summer housing allowance) and travel (up to $1000 travel reimbursement).

Women in Power System Transformation aims to increase gender equality in the global transition to clean energy by providing in-depth technical capacity building and leadership training for women in developing countries, such that they are prepared to excel in science and engineering professional roles in the rapidly evolving power sector. To support this mission, Women in Power System Transformation is now accepting applications to its summer internship program for undergraduate and graduate university students.

Areospace, electrical, computer, materials science, and nuclear engineering majors welcome to apply!

Penn State’s new Master of Engineering degree in Engineering, Law, and Policy (MELP), will be launched spring/fall 2022. MELP is an interdisciplinary professional degree program available for students with a STEM background, relevant across all engineering and science majors. This is a 1 year program with no GRE requirement. This residential graduate program is flexible and can be tailored to student’s technical, regulatory and policy interests through 9 credits of elective courses with 9 different technical elective areas to choose from, along with general electives across law, science and technology policy. Northwestern Pritzker School of Law invites STEM majors to attend their Master of Science in Law (MSL) Open House on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., to learn more about their one-year Master of Science in Law program.  In person and virtual attendance options are available.
