EITP Has Opened Registration for August 2015 Events:
Through a collaboration with the Department of Special Education at the University of Illinois, the Early Intervention Training Program is opening registration for a number of events in August and September.
Due to the lack of a state budget and a fully executed agreement for services beyond June 30th, EITP had to limit program activities as of July 1, 2015. One of the implications of this was that face-to-face trainings, including Systems trainings, were not being offered. Through this collaboration, we will be able to offer a number of events which will support early interventionists in obtaining and maintaining their credential. We understand the impact that this budget impasse is having on all families, programs, and providers. Despite the continued uncertainties within our State, EITP remains optimistic that we will be able to resume our full breadth of professional development offerings. As soon as we are able, we will open registration for other events.
