EITP has retired Moodle as our learning management system (LMS) for all asynchronous or eLearning offerings offered by EITP. Starting Tuesday, October 1, 2024, EITP will offer our asynchronous or self-paced online offerings using this new system, Canvas. (Some co-sponsored trainings, such as OneOp events, might use a different system). Canvas offers several benefits for early interventionists including easier registration pathways, course navigation, account creation, access, and password management. For more details, please see our recent announcement on Moodle retirement.
Beginning October 1st, whenever you enroll in an EITP online, asynchronous training using Canvas, first-time users will be prompted to create a Canvas account.
- You will only need to create an account once.
- Login information (username and password) is managed completely by you! (EITP cannot reset passwords and usernames, because only you will have access to this).
- Once you're logged into your course, you will be able to start the training immediately. (No more extra self-enrollment steps!) Within your Canvas account, you can access all your online, asynchronous EITP courses and certificates in one place.
If you need guidance or support with account creation or course registration, please refer to the EITP Canvas Troubleshooting document
