With the upcoming November elections, the Illinois Student Senate is teaming up with Illini Democrats, Illini Republicans, Illini Voter Coalition - IVC, and the Illinois League of Women Voters to host a concert on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on the main quad (rain venue: Illini Union) that will encourage Illinois students to register to vote.
They are looking to help make registering to vote an easier, and fun, process for students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and thus increase civic engagement in this year's elections.
They will have a number of students registering students to vote while they can enjoy the concert. They are all simply looking to Rock the Vote this election season!
