Here you will learn about the LGBT community through activities and open discussion. Participants will have the opportunity to explore and practice various ways to be an ally in everyday situations. This workshop will benefit anyone, regardless of identity or experience, who wants to gain awareness of the issues surrounding the LGBT community and how to support those affected by these issues. Would you like to learn what a disability ally is? Would you like to be more aware of disability, and how disability is experienced in your academic, social and living environments? Are you interested in including disability in conversations on diversity and culture? Come to a brand-new program at the university just for students called the Disability Ally Program (DAP).
