This year, author and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Michael Collins will come to speak with us about the ever changing healthcare industry and why it is important for students to persevere and become part of the medical field.
Dr. Collins is one of the most “sought after by patients across the nation” for his orthopedic specialties. He is also the author of “Hot Lights, Cold Steel” and “Blue Collar, Blue Scrubs” which focus on his journey to becoming a physician and the secrets he has discovered about medicine. You will have a chance to talk one on one with Dr. Collins at the book signing following the lecture! For more information about Dr. Collins check out his website, http://michaeljcollinsmd.com/index.php.
This event is open to the entire student and faculty campus, especially those interested in the health care field! The event will be on April 7, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at 120 Architecture Building and a book signing will follow the lecture.
