KDR SIGN-UPS BEGIN ON THURSDAY 9/10/15 (First-Year Students and New Off-Cycle) AT 9 A.M. AND FRIDAY 9/11/15 (EVERYONE ELSE) AT 9 A.M. Krannert Dress Rehearsal (KDR) program registration will begin on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 12:01 a.m. (for first-year students and new off-cycle) and Friday, September 11, 2015 at 12:01 a.m. (for everyone else). To register, go to the CHP website at http://www.honors.illinois.edu/, select Events Calendar, then enter the SAS or KDR sign-up postings after logging in with your net-id and Bluestem password and add your name to the reservations list OR login first at User Login>Student, and then go to the specific KDR in the Events Calendar to sign-up. We must limit the number of free passes to 30 at each KDR (except for events in the Studio Theatre, which are limited to 15), so please sign up for only a single KDR per semester unless there is an announcement later that room has opened up in a specific KDR. The Honors Office confirms reservations (on a first-come basis) a few days before the rehearsal and at that time provides directions to the room in Krannert Center where the pre-performance mini-lecture will be given, free passes will be distributed, and students will sign the attendance sheet. Please be aware that space reservations are tentative, and that you must receive an e-mail confirmation from the CHP before you may attend any KDR. SIGN-UP DIRECTIONS FOR KDR’S (and other events such as SAS, etc.) To sign up for events, start by going to the CHP website at honors.illinois.edu. From the home page, click on ‘Students’ and then ‘Calendar’ in the drop-down menu that appears. This will take you to the CHP Event Calendar. Scroll down to find the event you wish to sign up for, and click on its title. This will take you to the event page, which will have a link labeled ‘Register.’ Click on that link, and log in using your NetID and AD password. Then fill out the form that appears and click ‘Submit.’
If you are accepted for the event, you’ll get a confirmation e-mail from Margaret a few days before the event (and will need to respond to her if you still plan on attending), who also works with the waitlist to ensure students are registered in order of sign-up; if you are waitlisted, you will get confirmation of that as well.
The signup system will also send you a link that allows you to delete your response if you can no longer attend. If you can no longer attend, please use the link in that e-mail to delete your response (nobody else can do this for you) and send an e-mail to Margaret to let her know that you won’t be able to make it (so we know that a space has opened up for someone else).
Once sign-ups are open for KDRs (Thursday, 9/10/15 at 12:01 a.m. for first-year students and Friday, 9/11/15 at 12:01 a.m. for all other Chancellor's Scholars), you can follow the above directions to sign up for the event. Once again, please be aware that any space reservations are tentative, and that you must receive an e-mail confirmation from the CHP before you may attend any KDR.
If you have any questions about the SAS or KDRs, contact Elizabeth Rockman at rockman@illinois.edu or Margaret Cupps at cupps@illinois.edu (both can also be reached at the Honors House at (217) 244-0922); if you have any questions about logging into the CHP Events Calendar, please e-mail chp-computeradmins@illinois.edu for assistance.
