Undergraduate Admissions would like to request your assistance in recruiting the best students to serve as Illinois Student Admissions Representatives (I-STARs).
All I-STARS will serve on student panels, provide tours of campus, and assist with on-campus recruiting events.
Students may apply now to begin training in October. Please note this position is unavailable to seniors graduating in 2016. Ideal candidates would have experience with public speaking, strong oral communication skills, an ability to learn information quickly, are involved on campus, and enthusiastic about Illinois. Candidates are wanted from diverse colleges, majors, ethnicities, areas of involvement, and geographic hometowns.
Students may pick up an application at the front desk of the Admissions & Records Building, 901 W. Illinois St., Urbana, IL or you may request a copy by emailing istars.application@gmail.com. Applications are due by Friday, September 18 at 5 pm.
