The first part of the pilot is the Grand Challenge Experience Course which offers small classrooms taught by top faculty and covering one or more Gen Ed requirements. Each of these courses emphasizes experiential learning of some compelling kind. If you’d like to learn about anatomy in a dance studio, shoot your own videos about inequality, work with community organizations, research the history of marriage or AIDS, or learn about sustainable design, these courses may be just right for you.
