Accepted neuroscience undergrads will work with either Nilufer Ertekin-Taner, MD, PhD (http://www.mayo.edu/research/faculty/taner-nilufer-m-d-ph-d/bio-00027318), a neurogeneticist focused on the complex genetics of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and other neurodegnerative diseases; or William D. Freeman, MD (http://www.mayo.edu/research/faculty/freeman-william-d-m-d/bio-00027923?_ga=1.241099587.1908017420.1446223400), a neurologist interested in intracranial hemmorhage, specifically subarachnoid hemorrhage, and management of patients with neurological disorders in the intensive care unit and hospital.
