The Udall Scholarship awards $7,000 to sophomores or juniors committed to a career related to the environment *OR* to Native American sophomores or juniors interested in tribal policy or health care. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or U.S. permanent residents.
A successful applicant will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate leadership and a commitment to service. Students who are taking action to address environmental concerns or concerns related to Native American tribal affairs may be nominated for this opportunity. The University of Illinois may nominate up to 6 candidates for the award; if you are considering applying, contact the National and International Scholarships Office with any questions. The campus deadline is February 3, 2016.
