Mr. Tanja will visit campus to discuss the Schwarzman Scholars Program, which in its inaugural year has already become one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. This session is Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in 514 Illini Union Bookstore (use entrance near Coble Hall).
Are you a future leader? This scholarship provides a year of study leading to a Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics and Business, or International Studies at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. All courses are taught in English. Rising seniors, graduating seniors, graduate or professional students, and graduates under the age of 28 are eligible to apply. U.S. and non-U.S. citizens are eligible. Candidates are evaluated based on their potential to be future leaders in such areas as politics, business, or science, who seek a better understanding of China’s role in the world.

The National and International Scholarships Program is here to assist you through the application process. For Juniors, Seniors and Graduate/Professional students (generally 1st-year), now is the time to start your applications. To find out what you should be doing to meet the June 1 priority application deadline (for study beginning in fall, 2017), come to an informational meeting at one of the following nine times:
