IlliniThon is a student-run organization that raises funds and awareness for St. John's Children's Hospital in Springfield, IL. They have a variety of fundraising events throughout the year that all spread awareness and promote their 12-hour, no-sitting no-sleeping Big Event in April. With a fundraising goal of $250,000 this year, they are implementing the concept of "Push Days" which can be explained as every member of the organization coming together to raise a set amount of money in 24 hours. For example, last year they had a push day called, "5K in one day". The group completely surpassed this goal by actually raising 12K in one day. This year, they’re setting their goals even higher. On Monday, November 7, IlliniThon is creating a "push day" called "20K in one day". Help change and save the lives of the thousands of children treated at St. John's.
