The Udall Scholarship awards $7,000 to sophomores or juniors committed to a career related to the environment *OR* to Native American sophomores or juniors interested in tribal policy or health care. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or U.S. permanent residents.
A successful applicant will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate leadership and a commitment to service. UI will nominate students who are taking action to address environmental concerns or concerns related to Native American tribal affairs. The University of Illinois may nominate up to 6 candidates for the award; if you are considering applying, join the information event:

*Thursday, November 10, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Information session & discussion with former Udall Scholar; this session will be held in IUB Room 514
*Friday, November 11, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Workshop on how to craft a competitive Udall application; this session will be held in IUB Room 514
