The URS is the signature event of Undergraduate Research Week (April 23-29), and brings together students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus, as well as corporate partners and sponsors, to learn more about undergraduate research and its potential to change the world. Please apply even if titles or abstracts have not yet been finalized; they can be edited, but to participate and present in the Undergraduate Research Symposium, the application must be submitted by February 1!
For more information on Undergraduate Research Week, the URS, and OUR programs, please visit the OUR website at: http://undergradresearch.illinois.edu/
Deadline for submitting an application to the URS is Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at 11:59 pm. The application can be found at http://go.illinois.edu/urs2017

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Question 1: Can I submit an application if my research project isn’t finished? YES. Research projects in process are welcome. Just make sure you have a tentative title and abstract submitted by February 1 at 11:59pm!
Question 2: What if my title or abstract will change after submission? Not a problem. We don’t use the abstract in the program; it serves to give us an idea about your research project. Titles can be changed until mid-March, when our program will be finalized. But make sure to submit a tentative title and abstract by Feb 1 at 11:59pm!
Question 3: What if I have a question or require clarification on some parts of the application process? Email us! ugresearch@illinois.edu
