The Asian American Cultural Center will be celebrating Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Heritage Month with its annual AsiaFest! Celebration on Saturday, April 29th from 1pm-4pm. It will be located at the Asian American Cultural Center, 1210 W. Nevada Street in Urbana!
This family friendly festival will showcase a variety of Asian cultures through food, art, performances, and activities. Food Vendors such as Bobo China, Tang Dynasty and UI student organizations, will be selling a variety of Asian cuisine! There will also be many performances highlighting cultures from China, India, Korea, and more. Additionally there will be activities throughout the event where you can learn more about Asian and Asian American culture!
Activities include: Ddakji Korean game, Traditional Asian clothing photo booth, Chinese Calligraphy, Bhangra/Bollywood/Zumba workshop, cooking demonstration, and Henna!
