“Belonging to No Borders” is August 30, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Asian American Cultural Center, 1210 W. Nevada Street, Urbana, and is sponsored by Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Relations (OIIR)-International Education (IE) and Asian American Cultural Center (AACC).
International travel and immigration, common nowadays in this globalized world, has created a group of people who lose their identity in terms of borders, countries and cultures. Join us for a talk on such experiences by Sraddha Acharya, who was born to Nepalese parents in the U.S., and grew up in a Hindu household in Switzerland.
