IPRH at Pygmalion: George Saunders is on September 21, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Colwell Playhouse, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts IPRH is proud to participate in the Pygmalion Festival for the first time and to partner with Ninth Letter and the Carr Creative Writers Lecture Series in their presentation of this exciting event to the CU Community.
George Saunders is the author of four collections of short stories, a novella, a book of essays, and his recent first novel, Lincoln in the Bardo (Random House, 2017). The recipient of a 2006 MacArthur Foundation Genius grant, his work appears regularly in The New Yorker, GQ, and Harpers Magazine, and has appeared in the O’Henry, Best American Short Story, Best Non-Required Reading, and Best American Travel Writing anthologies. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by TIME Magazine in 2013.
