What is Pre-Law 101? Pre-Law 101 is a workshop offered multiple times this fall that is designed for incoming students who are new to pre-law or are interested in learning more about it. This workshop will cover: What it means to be pre-law at Illinois; course selection, majors, and extracurriculars for pre-law students; building a pre-law resume; and what law schools are really looking for in candidates. During this workshop we will outline a long term plan to maximize undergraduate experiences in order to make a great law school candidate. We'll also take any questions about law school and legal careers. Each Pre-Law 101 session is the same, so students can pick the one that best suits their schedule. Incoming students should attend a Pre-Law 101 prior to setting up an individual pre-law advising appointment. All Pre-Law 101 workshops are listed at: https://calendars.illinois.edu/list/2508.
The Pre-Law Handbook, located at http://www.livebinders.com/play/play?id=2080080, has been revamped to provide information about the new LSAT schedule, the GRE, and other recent law school admissions changes.
