Professor Skirvin invites you to join him for an evening of tasting the “Food of the Gods,” Theobroma cacao – also known as chocolate. We will talk about chocolate’s origin in Central America, its rise to importance in Europe and share stories of its pleasures and its poisons! We’ll be tasting chocolate products throughout the lecture. You will learn things about chocolate that you never expected to know; your life will never be the same.
