If you’re looking for a new way to make a positive impact on campus and to help other students be more informed and engaged with the UI Libraries, consider becoming a Library Student Ambassador!
The Library Student Ambassador program will give members the chance to learn more about the many collections, services, and programs at libraries throughout campus, to plan engaging events, and to help educate your peers about how to make the most of all that the libraries have to offer. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable leadership, to share your perspectives about what students need and want from the libraries, and to make connections with other motivated students and library faculty and staff. The organizers of the group want the student members to have the freedom to determine what types of library-related events and projects will be most valuable to the campus community.
Applications to become a Library Student Ambassador are due by Monday, September 16th at https://publish.illinois.edu/libraryambassadors. If you have any questions, please contact Visual Resources & Outreach Specialist Sarah Christensen at schrstn@illinois.edu.
