    Before registering for the Online System Follow-up Session (SOFU) training, participants are required to have completed the Online System Overview training. 

    Start these steps at least one week before attending SOFU.  

    Step 1

    Register for the training: Online System Overview

    Please note: Service Coordinators are no longer required to complete the Online System Overview training.  They should register to join a cohort for the Service Coordination Online (Blended) on our EITP Online Events page.

    Keep your registration confirmation email!
    Step 2If this is your first online training with EITP in Canvas, our learning management system, you will be asked to set up an account.

    If you are a returning user, simply login using your username and password.

    Keep your username and password! EITP cannot help you reset password or username.  
    Step 3Begin your training!If you run into issues, please view Canvas Troubleshooting Resource Guide (pdf) 
    Step 4 if you are attending SOFU online (Zoom)

    Be prepared to discuss these activities at the training.  

    1. Watch the Introduction to EI video and note examples of our shared EI principles/philosophy you see within the video (10-15 minutes).
    2. Review How to Participate in Zoom (pdf) handout. (5 minutes).
    3. Complete the Where Do You Stand? (pdf form) handout. (5 minutes)
    4. Complete the IFSP worksheets (Google doc) as you view the selected IFSP videos (total 1-1.5 hour):
      1. Chapter 2.1 – Levels of Development: Communication
      2. Chapter 2.2 – Levels of Development: Cognitive and Self-Help
      3. Chapter 3.2 – Child Outcomes 1 & 2
      4. Chapter 3.3 – Child Outcomes 3
      5. Chapter 4.1 – Family-Centered Functional Outcomes (part 1)
      6. Chapter 4.2 – Family-Centered Functional Outcomes (part 2)
      7. Optional: If you would like to view the entire IFSP development process, please view the Bri, Her Family and Early Intervention playlist
    Estimated times to complete the activities are listed. Total estimated time is up to 2 hours.
