We are looking for Arabic-speaking undergraduate students to join a research project focused on developing culturally tailored online content for a weight loss program. Students will help convert educational materials into short, engaging videos using PowerPoint or Canva, record audio in Arabic, and assist in building related surveys using REDCap (training provided). This is a great opportunity to build skills in digital content creation, research, and health communication.
We prefer native or fluent Arabic speakers who are detail-oriented, open to learning new tools, and comfortable with basic technology (PowerPoint or Canva). No specific major is required—students from any field with the necessary language skills and interest are welcome to apply.
This opportunity is available now through the summer, with the possibility of continuing into the fall. Students can earn 1 credit hour for their participation. The expected time commitment is around 1 hour per week.
To apply, please email Asma Yahya (yahya2@illinois.edu) with a brief introduction and any relevant experience. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
