The Image of Research – UR Edition competition is now open! The Image of Research; UR Edition is a multidisciplinary competition celebrating the diversity and breadth of undergraduate student research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. All undergraduate students are invited to submit entries consisting of an image and brief text that articulates how the image relates to the research. All entries will be celebrated at this year’s Undergraduate Research Symposium on Thursday, April 27 in the Illini Union Ballroom. First prize: $300; Second prize: $200; People’s Choice Award: $100.
Deadline to enter: Friday, April 7, 2023 at 12midnight CST.
Check out award winners from past years or attend a session to workshop your ideas and to learn more about the competition. Attend this workshop to learn more about the competition and get tips and tricks for visualizing your research. We will spend the second half of the hour on "workshopping," feel free to bring your ideas and draft images. Tuesday, March 7th from 4-5pm and Thursday, March 9th from 12-1pm.
