The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is excited to announce our Sticker Design Contest! We’re looking for a creative, eye-catching, and engaging design that embodies the spirit of undergraduate research, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
The winning design will receive a $300 prize (through your student account) and will be featured on stickers distributed campus-wide to be used on laptops and water bottles for years to come! In addition, the winning designer will also receive the printed stickers to share and enjoy!

Design Guidelines
- Size: 3" round, 4" round, or a custom shape (between 2" and 4")
- Theme & Audience: Your design should capture the diversity of undergraduate research disciplines or use a neutral theme that doesn’t imply a single field. Think fun, vibrant, interdisciplinary, and inclusive.
- Text: Design should include “Undergraduate Research” or be designed in such a way that it is identifiable as an OUR design.
- Visuals: The design should include one of the University of Illinois Block I's or Illinois Wordmark (all can be found linked here).
- File Format: We prefer submissions in Adobe editable formats (such as .AI or .PSD), but we will also accept high-resolution files that allow for editing (such as .PDF, .EPS, or .TIFF). If using a non-Adobe platform, ensure your submission is exported in a way that allows for resizing and minor edits without compromising quality. If you the winning design is in a platform that does not allow for the easy exporting of project files, we may need to work with the designer to have the design printed.
Submission
Only current undergraduate students are eligible to enter this competition. Students may submit as many designs as they wish. The deadline for all entries is December 10, 2024, by 11:59 PM.
