The U of I's first humanities-focused hackathon, HackCulture, will take place over a three week period in October in order to encourage those new to the hackathon concept to apply and have adequate time to develop new skills. Ten teams of four will compete for first ($1000/each) and second ($300/each) place. For more information on the event, including how to apply, go to the HackCulture site.
