Are you an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois looking to publish your work?
Re:Search, the Undergraduate Literary Criticism Journal at the University of Illinois, is seeking submissions for its fourth annual publication! Re:Search is an undergraduate-produced, peer-reviewed online journal that is designed to annually publish works exclusively authored by undergraduate students. It seeks to create a venue for undergraduate students to showcase and publish literary criticism within a greater academic discourse while nurturing a collaborative community between faculty, administration, and undergraduate students. Accepted papers will be published in both print and digital copies of the journal!
Students currently enrolled as undergraduates at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from any discipline or major may submit to Re:Search, as long as the submissions are in accordance with our vision of the journal as a site of critical analysis. The journal encourages students to submit literary, media, or cultural criticism. Re:Search accepts revisions of papers written previously for a class, current or completed honors theses, and even projects conceived outside the classroom.
Students who wish to be published in Re:Search will need to submit a 3-5 page proposal by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 7th, 2016 through the online Open Journal System. There will be a proposal workshop specific to the OJS submission process on October 26th for anyone who has questions and/or wants to get involved (location TBA).
