We are excited to showcase a new Spring 2024 course available for Illinois students. The "Foundations of Academic Research and Creative Activity" course is thoughtfully designed for undergraduate students, graduate students, and post-docs across all academic disciplines, including the arts, humanities, social sciences, STEM, and more.
By demystifying the academic research landscape, this course empowers students with essential insights into critical areas, including research ethics, funding mechanisms, the importance of collaboration, and the intricacies of research ownership, among other research-relevant topics. Importantly, no prior research experience is necessary, making it an ideal opportunity for undergraduate students interested in exploring the world of research. It is also great for students with significant research experience.
