The Slavic Reference Service is offering a multi-part instruction program designed to help students become more comfortable with conducting research and writing academic papers.
The Introduction to Scholarly Research is a multipart instruction program designed to assist undergraduate and graduate students with the various stages of the research process. It is the goal of these sessions to create a supportive environment, where students can exchange ideas, share perspectives, get research support, as well as explore the innumerable possibilities of approaching a subject matter or a research project. These sessions are open to students from any discipline or academic program.
- Session 1: Developing a Research Topic | February 10: 4:00 pm-5:00 pm CST
- Session 2: Conducting a Literature Review | February 24: 2:00 pm-3:00 pm CST
- Session 3: Note-taking and Documenting Sources| March 10: 2:00 pm-3:00 pm CST
