The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign welcomes future students and their families to campus for our incredible open houses. Begun more than 100 years ago with the first Engineering Open House, today we have more wonders to see and experiences to share than ever!
College of Education Open House, March 24
The College of Education Open House provides admitted students with an in-person experience of how the College of Education cultivates an environment that promotes educational excellence and works to grow educational ambassadors. This event will consist of an informative session with students, academic advisors, recruiters, international program advisors, and administration. We will also host a live Q&A session at the end.
Visitors of all ages can do hands-on demos and activities, solve a science scavenger hunt, and meet the people behind world-changing scientific discoveries.
We hope that Engineering Open House provides an outlet for everyone to explore engineering and STEM related fields. This year we have more than 200 exhibits, ranging from drone demonstrations to prosthetic hands and a wind tunnel demo.
If you like animals, this is the place to be! On this interactive site, you can learn about farm animals, pets, and all kinds of other critters. Younger children can start to learn what being a veterinarian might be like - and practice at home. Hear from current Illinois students about their experiences in this vibrant college.
