  • Illinois historian’s translation of a unique medieval play to be staged on campus

    Christian Wilson, left, portrayed Adam, Alexandra Smith was Eve and Raffeal A. Sears was The Figure in a production of “The Play of Adam” in December at The Met Cloisters in New York City. The medieval play will be staged on the University of Illinois campus. Wilson, Smith and Sears are all U. of I. acting students.

    A re-creation of the oldest medieval vernacular play, in a new English translation, will be staged at the Chapel of St. John the Divine on the University of Illinois campus.
